Welcome to Rona North Group! We’re a locally owned group of Rona stores—Rona Gimli, Rona Teulon, and Rona Dryden—licensed to use the Rona brand, but we operate independently from Rona Inc. (Rona Inc. calls us a “Dealer Store” or “Dealer-Owned”)
That means prices, services, and promotions on rona.ca may not apply to us. Our website and social media are here to inform you about what’s available in-store, not to sell products directly.
By visiting our site, stopping by our stores (no purchase needed!), or interacting with our online content, you agree to be respectful, honest, and lawful.
We don’t track your personal info, and our goal is to provide helpful advice and accurate info about our stores and products. Thanks for being part of our community!

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website ronanorth.ca and all associated media and platforms operated by Rona North Group, which includes Rona Gimli, Rona Teulon, and Rona Dryden (collectively, “Rona North Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, visiting our stores, or interacting with our online media, you (“user,” “visitor,” or “customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations in the Provinces of Ontario and Manitoba, as well as relevant federal laws of Canada.

Ownership, Copyright, and Brand Licensing

  • The content, design, and media on ronanorth.ca and all related platforms are owned and copyrighted by Rona North Group, a dealer-owned buying group.
  • Rona North Group is licensed to use the Rona brand name, logos, and identity under specific limitations.
  • (“Rona”) is a separate legal entity. Rona Inc. is not responsible for the operations, policies, or content of Rona North Group, and likewise, Rona North Group is not responsible for the operations, policies, or content of Rona Inc.
  • Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website or media without express written permission.

Relationship with Rona Inc.

  • By using ronanorth.ca, you acknowledge that Rona North Group operates independently of Rona Inc.
  • Pricing, promotions, and services offered on rona.ca may not apply to Rona North Group stores.
  • Rona North Group does not sell products directly through ronanorth.ca. Online purchases must be made through rona.ca or in person at our physical store locations.

Definition of Users

  • “Users” also refers to “visitors” or “customers” of our physical store locations, with no purchase necessary.
  • By using our website, visiting our stores, or interacting with our media (including liking, commenting, or sharing), you declare yourself a customer of Rona North Group.
  • You must be the age of majority in your province or supervised by a parent/guardian who accepts responsibility for your actions.

Permitted and Prohibited Use

  • Users may access our media platforms for personal, not commercial use.
  • Users must not use our website, social media, contact forms, or brand names to facilitate or assist in spam, marketing, unauthorized collection of information, misuse through crawlers or bots, or any illegal activities.
  • Illegal activities are defined as those that violate Canadian federal laws, the laws of the user’s country of residence, and the provincial laws of Ontario and Manitoba.
  • Users must provide accurate and truthful information and must not impersonate others. Using false names, email addresses, pseudonyms, may be considered a violation of these Terms.
  • Profanity, harassment, threats, unruly behaviour, or any form of abuse directed at Rona North Group, its employees, other users, or visitors – whether online or in-store – are strictly prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion. Violations of these Terms may result in termination of service and barring entry to our properties.

Account Management and Third-Party Services

  • Users may be directed to credit account management and payment portals hosted by our point-of-sale vendors. These vendors are not affiliated with Rona Inc. and operates under their own terms of use.
  • We do not offer subscription-based services. However, finance charges may apply to overdue accounts, governed by a separate legal agreement with the Rona North Group store where the account resides.

Services and Limitations

  • The purpose of ronanorth.ca and our media accounts is to provide informational content about products available for purchase at our stores or on rona.ca.
  • We do not provide contracting, plumbing, heating, or electrical services.
  • One exception: For customers who purchase custom-designed countertops or cabinets, some of our stores may offer installation of those specific products only.
    • We do not offer removal or takeaway of old products, especially countertops, cabinets, or appliances.
  • We may post information about local contractors, businesses, events, or individuals in our areas, but these are not endorsements or recommendations.
  • Orders taken at Rona North Group stores may be changed or cancelled at our discretion. (Including product availability, shortages, 
  • Restrictions may apply to product quantities per person, household, or order.
  • Rona North Group and Rona Inc. may remove or modify user content at it’s discretion, but isn’t obligated to monitor or control posts.

Accuracy and Availability

  • We make no guarantee that prices, promotions, or content posted on any of our media are accurate, current, or error-free.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website or social media. As these platforms are informational only, no compensation will be provided for downtime or inaccessibility.
  • While it is our goal to respond to inquiries in a timely manner, we do not guarantee a response or reply.

User Conduct

  • Users must not engage in unlawful, abusive, or disruptive behaviour on any of our platforms or in our stores.
  • Users are responsible for using the site wisely and at their own risk.
  • It is our goal to provide quality products and honest advice, but users must acknowledge that these are opinions, and their individual experiences may vary.
  • You agree to protect Rona North Group and it’s stores from claims or losses caused by your violation of these terms or wrongful use.
  • Violations of these Terms may result in denial of service, including refusal of entry to stores, denial of refunds, or withholding of product delivery.

Privacy Policy

  • We do not track personal information of web users. Any data collected is anonymized and used only for internal analytics and website performance.

  • Rona North Group reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without notice.

Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, and the Provinces of Ontario and Manitoba.
  • Rona Inc. is governed by the laws of Canada, and the Province of Quebec.
